How is it learnt?

Traditionally through one-to-one lessons with a fully trained Alexander Teacher.

I use my hands to guide a person through simple movement. It may be just the turning of the head or movement of an arm which gives a learning opportunity through to sitting and standing, walking and lying on a table.

On-line lessons are available and can give a foundation for understanding the technique and some preparation for hands on lessons.
 
A combination of the two may also be possible.
